PIANO SALON
Adult Student Recital
The Piano Salon is a social event dedicated to the enjoyment of great music through playing and
listening. Performing students share a piece that has been prepared with performance in mind,
while non-performers participate as listeners. We encourage participation from adult students of
all ages and levels who are willing to embrace performance as part of the learning process.

ELIGIBILITY and GUIDELINES:
- Performers must be 18 years or older and study with a member of the Piano Teachers Congress of New York
- Compositions originally written for piano are recommended
- Works for four-hands are encouraged
- Memorization is not required
- Length of piece is not to exceed 7 minutes
